Use a suitable heat-resistant dhoop or havan vessel placed on a stable, non-flammable surface.
Take a small quantity of Loban Dhuni Powder appropriate for your ritual and place it carefully in the prepared vessel.
Light or heat only according to the instructions appropriate for your chosen dhoop/dhuni method. Allow the aroma to spread naturally.
